Welcome to Super Sports News!

We are a few weeks into the new academic year and what a start!

Mr Newson at Abbots Green Academy this week has completed their interactive cross-county competition. Children in Year 1/2 have completed 800m, children in 3/4 went up to 1200m and finally children in 5/6 finished a massive 1600m. All the children showed fantastic resilience to complete the course in some questionable weather conditions. Year 5/6 at Gislingham also completed the long distance event. Children showed brilliant support and encouragement to all their friends.

Mr Stevens has been working on agility and speed with all the children at Old Newton this half-term. They go outside whatever the weather and return to class with a huge smile. The children at Walsham Le Willows can also say they love the outdoors and they have been enjoying PE every Tuesday and focusing on athletics.

Miss Fuell has been visiting a number of schools. Year 2/3 at Bacton Primary have focused on fitness circuits this half-term. They have showed great progression over the weeks. Year 1-4 at Gislingham have been fantastic on Tuesdays in their lessons. Miss Fuell has enjoys her Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at Palgrave.

Unfortunately we still aren't in the position to runs clubs in our schools however we are working on it!

We hope to release our October camp dates very soon.........
